Stand-Alone
The telephone enters this work mode whenever it is unable to fully complete a normal
initialization within a reasonable period of time (10 - 20 seconds from the moment the
program becomes active).
Keyset Display
The LCD will display the phrase STAND-ALONE together with an appropriate phrase
to indicate the progress of the initialization.
Table 2-2
lists the possible phrases and
their respective meanings.

Report Phrases
In cases when the Coral System is heavily loaded , the message:
will sometimes appear for several minutes and then disappear. The message can also
appear in cases when there are abnormally high amounts of electromagnetic
interference. This causes the signal to noise ratio to be too low for error free operation.
LED Indicators
The Fixed System Keys (the 4 lower left keys) will light according to initialization
phase as shown below. This enables problem identification even on telephones without
an LCD display:
