11.3

Assembling and Removing the WiFi Card

This section describes how to assemble the WiFi card onto the NTU Office card. This 

section describes the assembly and removal of the same WiFi and NTU Office card 
combination.

More than one WiFi card type is provided by the manufacturer. Before 
assembling a new WiFi card, verify with the manufacturer’s representative 
that it is compatible with your NTU Office card.

Installing the WiFi Card Cables

1.

Remove the two protective plugs that cover the holes for the antennas on the 
front panel of the system.

2.

Unplug the power cord that supplies the Coral IPx Office system.

3.

Remove the unit cover. See 

Opening the Unit Cover, page 6-9

.

4.

Insert the antenna cables through the front panel of the Coral IPx Office unit.

5.

Fasten the WiFi cable threaded connectors to the NTU card housing.

6.

Connect the other side of the WiFi cables to the WiFi card as follows (see 

Figure 11-6

):

a. Align the WiFi cable connector with its mating connector on the WiFi card.

Electrical Hazard. Contact with live wires could cause shock, burn, and death. Turn OFF 

the ON/OFF switch and disconnect the power cord before opening the cover.
