AC Power Su

pply U

The PS19 AC can supply either 20Hz or 25Hz ringing frequency by configuring
Jumper J2 located on the bottom left component side card panel. See

Figure 7-11

. This

jumper is configured by the manufacturer according to local requirements. However, it
can be configured in the field. The procedure is as follows:

Remove the power supply unit from its slot and place it over the anti-static
material with the component side facing upwards, as described in

page 7-47,

Removing the Power Supply

Configure jumper J2 for the following frequencies:

Reinstall the power supply unit as described on

page 7-46, Installing the Power

Supply

Ringer Frequency Adjustment

Do not insert or remove the PS19 AC unit from the cage when turned ON. Sudden

power surges could damage system components.
