BIOS Settings for Motorola CPV5370

This is the procedure for setting up the correct BIOS for the MCP-ATS Card,

Model: CPV5370-700.

Remove the MCP-ATS card from its slot (see

Removing a Control Card,

page 8-12

Insert the CFD if not already inserted on the card’s side panel.

Install the CPV5370 in to the slot labeled MCP-ATS in the Control Cage (see

Inserting a Control Card, page 8-9

Connect a video terminal and keyboard to the front panel of the CPV5370.

Turn on the main Power to the Coral system.

Press

keyboard key to display the BIOS screen.

Press the right arrow key to display the ADVANCED screen.

Select the REMOTE CONSOLE position.

Set the COM-PORT

parameter

DISABLED

10.

Press the right arrow key until reaching the BOOT screen.

11.

Select the HARD DRIVE option.

12.

Set the Compact Flash Disk at the top, as shown below, with the

key.

Press

Esc

and the

right arrow

key to display the EXIT screen.

14.

Press

Enter

to save your changes and exit from BIOS.

15.

Remove the keyboard and video connections and re initialize the Coral system

by pressing the Reset button on the MCP-ATS front panel.

Check to see that the Coral initializes properly, see
