BIOS Settings for the SBS-CT7 P70500470CW24 V4.D

This is the procedure for setting up the correct BIOS for the MCP-ATS Card,

Model: SBS-CT7 P70500470CW24 V4.D.

Remove the MCP-ATS card from its slot (see

Removing a Control Card,

page 8-12

Insert the CFD if not already inserted on the card’s side panel.

Connect a video terminal and keyboard to the front panel of the SBS-CT7.

Install the SBS-CT7 in to the slot labeled MCP-ATS in the Control Cage (see

Inserting a Control Card, page 8-9

Turn on the main Power to the Coral system.

Press the keyboard

Delete

key while the card is loading, to enter the CMOS

BIOS settings.

Set

Auto Configuration with Optimal Settings

Yes

Enter the

Advanced CMOS Setup

screen.

Select the

1ST BOOT DEVICE

option and set to

1ST IDE-HDD

10.

Enter the

Peripheral Setup

screen.

11.

Set the

Onboard Serial Port1

option to

3F8H

12.

Set the

Onboard Serial Port2

option to

2F8H

13.

Return to the Main BIOS screen and choose the

SAVE SETTING AND EXIT

option and choose

Yes

to save and exit.

14.

Remove the keyboard and video connections and re initialize the Coral system

by pressing the Reset button on the MCP-ATS front panel.

15.

Check to see that the Coral initializes properly, see
