Coral FlexiCom 6000 Installation Manual

BIOS Settings for the

CP-ATS Tadiran Telecom

FDUG

The card BIOS settings are factory-configured to match the MCP-ATS card

requirements.

Use the following procedure to verify the correct BIOS settings for the MCP-ATS card

model:

Tadiran Telecom.

Connect a video terminal and keyboard to the front panel of the card.

Install the MCP-ATS card in to the slot labeled MCP-ATS in the control cage

(see

Inserting a Control Card, page 8-9

Turn on the main power to the Coral system.

Press the Reset button on the front panel of the card.

Press the keyboard

Delete

key (repeatedly) several times while the card is

loading until the

Pheonix Award BIOS CMOS Setup Utility

main screen is

displayed.

Using the arrow keys, navigate to the

Load Optimized Defaults (Y/N)

screen,

type

, and then press

Enter

; the optimized defaults are loaded and the main

Pheonix Award BIOS CMOS Setup Utility

screen is displayed.

Press

F10

; the

SAVE to CMOS AND EXIT (Y/N)

prompt is displayed;

select

and then press

Enter

Pheonix Award BIOS CMOS Setup

Utility

closes.

Remove the keyboard and video connections and re-initialize the Coral system

by pressing the Reset button on the MCP-ATS front panel.

Check to see that the Coral initializes properly, see
