8 Functions
Information Some parameters mentioned in the following liste are only visible with the appropriate
CODE, set in the controller, and arn't therefore always listed in the parameter list of the
antecedent section. Changes to these parameters have a significant influence on the func-
tioning of the regulator and should be changed only by properly trained personnel.
8.1 Fresh water production Functions
Tapping If tapping is active (flow is greater than STE15 MIN. TAPPING RATE ), the cold water is
heated to the nominal temperature value, e.g. BAS01 TSET DOMESTIC HOT WATER .
For this purpose, energy is fed to the primary side via the speed-controlled pump in order
to reach the nominal temperature value at the heat exchanger outlet sensor TWW and hold
it.
To calculate the working point, the cold-water temperature TKW, the flow V and the DHW
temperature TWW are required. In addition, the supply on the primary side is measured,
TPV, in order to take the available primary energy into account.
Primary pump speed control For each start, the primary pump control pauses for the time STE04 RUN-TIME START
SPEED at the starting point in order to quickly reach the set point.
The primary pump speed is regulated between the minimum and maximum speed limits.
The maximum speed is fixed at 100 %. The minimum speed can be defined under STE03
MIN PRIM. PUMP SPEED .
Primary pump performance signal The following signals can be output for the speed-controlled actuation of the pumps.
