ble LED rear lights for carriages.
Note: Both lighting connections should be insulated from the track!
Step 3
Connect the rear lights on the “yellow” coupling end to the decoder's soldering contacts
that are located on the right side when facing direction of travel (looking on the compo-
nents' side). If you are using LEDs, the anode (positive pole) of the LED with the soldering
point on top (decoder's components' side) needs to be connected with the other pole where
the soldering point is at the bottom (side of LED). For light bulbs the polarity is irrelevant.
Note: Both lighting connections should be insulated from the track! T4T also offers suita-
ble LED rear lights for carriages.
Note: Both lighting connections should be insulated from the track!
What you have achieved so far:
1.
Of course the previously mentioned functions.
2.
The rear lights will automatically switch on and off with the direction (note CV 169 of the
LD-1x).
3.
When a locomotive with a LD-1x decoder is coupled to the wagon, the decoder automati-
cally recognizes the wagon and whether it is at the end of the train set, then the rear lights
will light according to direction.
4.
The intensity of the lighting can be set individually (see LD-1x Manual „Programming
Wagon CV's“)
Setting up a double deck coach
Follow all previously mentioned steps for setting up TC-H0 and rear lights.
The bottom light bar WD-PW-DS may have to be shortened for use with the double deck
coach.
ATTENTION: The section marked with 1 has to be broken off before the section marked
with 2!
Should the light bar be still too long, the section marked with 2 may also be broken off.
Note: This procedure cannot be reversed!
The 4-pin connector of the WD-PWxxx needs to be connected with the 4-pin connector of
the WD-PW-DS by means of the enclosed cable. The orientation of the cable is arbitrary.
What you have achieved so far:
1.
All the previously mentioned functions.
2.
The bottom light bar WD-PW-DS' brightness and colour gradation can now be controlled
via the light bar that is integrated in the decoder WD-PWxxx.
Setting up a control car
Follow all previously mentioned steps for setting up TC-H0, WD-PW-DS and rear lights.
Connect the head light of the control car to the „yellow“ coupling end of the decoder. Con-
nect the contacts 5 & 6of the 6-pin connector to the head light. If you are using LEDs, the
anode (positive pole) of the LED needs to be connected to contact 6. The other pole needs
to be connected to contact 5. For light bulbs the polarity is irrelevant.
What you have achieved so far:
1.
All the previously mentioned functions.
