Function buttons
A brief press
Adds a favorite to the Presets list
In the system configuration menu: Activates a source
A long press
Removes a favorite from the Presets list.
In the system configuration menu: Deactivates a source
A brief press
Switches between capitals and lower case, and numeric / letters, when entering data.
A long press
Cycles through the various screen displays.
Detailed display with / without CD text / Radiotext (if present) and large display with / without CD
text / Radiotext (if present).
A brief press
When necessary, repeated presses of the button cycle through the various playback modes (repeat
track, repeat all, etc.).
A long press
Switches the MixMode (Shuffle) on or off.
Only FM Radio: Switches between Stereo and Mono reception
A brief press
Opens the D/A mode selection menu.
Replacing the battery
Remove the screw marked in the figure below, to open the battery compartment, then withdraw the cover.
Insert two new cells of the LR 03 (MICRO) type, taking care to maintain correct polarity as shown. Please
note that you must always replace all the cells.
Range
When operating by remote control, please hold the F3100 in the
direction of the remote control receiver.
The range of the remote control is approx. 4..5 m.
The line of sight between F3100 and the remote control receiver
must not be interrupted by obstacles.
The direct incidence of interfering light (e.g. from fluorescent and
energy-saving lamps) into the receiver should be avoided at all
times, as otherwise the range of the remote control can be conside-
rably reduced.
