Screen symbols and their meaning
Making connection
(Wait / Busy)
The rotating symbol indicates that the
K8
is either processing a command or
making the connection to a service. These processes may take some time,
depending on the speed of the network and the load on it.
During such periods the
K8
may be muted, and may not respond to commands.
If this should occur, please wait until the symbol disappears again.
Indicates a
playable music track
or a
playlist.
Indicates a
folder
, which contains further folders or lists.
Indicates that a source is being played through a
cable connection
.
Indicates that a source is being played through a
radio connection
.
Indicates that the
K8
is playing a station or a music track
Indicates a pause
Buffer display (fullness / memory indicator) and
data rate indicator (where available):
the higher the data rate, the higher the playback quality.
Elapsed playback time indicator.
This display is not available for all services.
Indicates that the
button can be used to shift to a higher menu level or
Select level.

Position indicator in Select lists: the first number states the current position in the
list, the second number the total number of list entries (length of list).
Indicates that the selected menu point or list point can be activated by pressing
the
button.

Lights up when Zone 2 is active (not possible with 7.1 system in the main room)

If there is no audible signal on one or more loudspeaker channels, even though
these speakers are switched on, the reason may be that these channels are not
present on the recording being played.
