Room unit for control of a Corrigo running a
ventilation application
ED-RU-DFO is an external room unit primarily intended for control
of an air handling unit via a Corrigo controller running a ventilation
application. A Corrigo with 2 ports is required in order to use the unit.
The room unit is connected to port 2 and can be used together with
expansion units. The room unit can also be used together with EXO-
compact. This requires advanced knowledge of the EXO system.

ED-RU-DFO is connected to the same supply voltage as the Corrigo
controller (G and G0). Communication takes place via EXOline and is
connected to port 2, A and B.

Configuration using E tool

The desired contents of the display can be configured using E tool

This includes room temperature from the built-in sensor of the room unit
(factory setting), room temperature coming from the Corrigo, outdoor
temperature, supply air temperature and extract air temperature.
When outdoor temperature has been selected, the outdoor temperature
symbol is shown in the display. Otherwise, the indoor temperature symbol
is shown.
To read the temperature from the room unit sensor, “Temperature to
show in ED-RUD” should be set to “Room temp from the display sensor”
(default setting).
A class A alarm coming from the Corrigo will cause ”SERVICE” to be
displayed.

can also be used to set the extended running time, permitted
max./min. setpoint adjustment for the setpoint buttons and for view-
ing/applying the setpoint displacement.

The button can be used to turn the
unit off or place it in auto mode
On/off/extended
running
The button can be used to turn the
unit off or to force it to run in normal
speed for a settable duration, after
which it will enter auto mode.
When pressing the On/Off button for 10 s, the air handling unit will
stop. At the next scheduled start-up it will then start and run in mode
AUTO.
A press of the button will start the unit, making it run at normal speed
for the duration set under “extended running” (factory setting 60 min.).
Thereafter, the unit will enter into auto mode.
The LED indicator on the button shows whether or not the unit is
presently running. As the unit is starting, it will take a few seconds for
the indicator to light up.
When the unit is in manual position and has been started from the
display of the Corrigo or using E tool

or a web page, it cannot be
started or stopped using ED-RU-DFO.
