The HDM401 can take 4 HD video and audio signals and display on a single HD monitor.
There are 7 different modes that can be selected which includes quad formats, two
channel, single channel fixed or sequencing modes.
Buttons on the HDM401 can be used for video and audio selection but can also be
controlled using an IR remote which is supplied, along with a 12 V DC 5A PSU.
Installation Instructions
Connect 4 HD feeds to the HDM401 using HDMI cables of 15 metres maximum. Connect a
HDMI cable from the unit to a HDMI monitor, again no longer than 15 metres. Connect the
12 V DC 2A power supply to the 2.1mm power socket and connect the mains to the power
supply.
You can now use the buttons on the from of the HDM401 to select video and audio. Note
that you may prefer using the IR remote supplied with this unit to do this as you will not
have to go through all the options to select the one you require.
Please note that you can
only select 720p or 1080p output using the remote control.
The HDM401 supports the following output resolutions:
Input Resolutions: 1080p, 1080i, 1360 x 768, 1280 x 1024, 1024 x 768, 720p
Output Resolutions: 1080p, 720p
The monitor picture displays may need adjusting using settings in the monitor menu if the
format causes irregular shapes e.g. oval shapes, circles etc.
