PCIe IP Prototyping Kit Installation Guide

Starting ARC SDP/ARC HSDK

To start the ARC SDP board perform the next steps:

Connect to the ARC SDP serial interface (refer to

“Connecting to ARC SDP/ARC HSDK”

page

Make sure you have the SD card (containing the Linux image binary file) in the ARC SDP system

board and that the proper power-up sequence has been followed. For more information, refer to

“Setting Up Hardware Components”

on page

Restart the ARC SDP system board by pressing the “Board RESET” button (located next to the power

connector, see

Figure 3-3

). The Linux Kernel boots up.
