F3 – Time & Date
Use function F3 to set the XLi system clock’s time and date. If the XLi is using GPS as its primary
reference source, setting F3 manually is unnecessary. Following startup, the XLi synchronizes its time
and date to the GPS reference source
1
. If the XLi doesn’t have GPS as its primary reference source, use
F3 to set the time for the IEEE 1588 option card.
F3 prompts the user for the Time Mode, the Date in
mm/dd/yyyy
format, and the Time in
hh:mm:ss
format. The hours in
hh:mm:ss
should be given using 24-hour notation (e.g., 6 pm = 18:00).

<S>
