PTC-1800 Product Reference Guide

Charge the PTC-1800 for at least 5 hours. The
bridge battery has now been conditioned and is
good for another month of service.

Replacing the bridge battery

When to replace the bridge battery

Symbol recommends that the PTC-1800's bridge
battery be replaced every 3–5 years under normal
operating conditions. However, the PTC-1800's bridge
battery is not user replaceable.

Replacement procedure

If the bridge battery fails or no longer holds a charge,
send your PTC-1800 to an authorized Symbol service
center to have the bridge battery replaced. The center
will insert a new bridge battery into your PTC-1800
and follow the proper procedure to recycle the failed
battery.
