AT Command Set

In some cases, writing to the S-Register appears to be accepted but the value is not written.

Some commands are accepted, but the value may be limited and replaced by a maximum
or minimum value.

Set Tone Dial Default

Description

Forces DTMF dialing until the next P dial modifier or P command is received. The modem
sets an S-Register bit to conduct all subsequent dialing in tone mode. The DP command
overrides this command. Clears S14 bit 5.

Result Code Form

Description

Selects whether short-form or long-form result codes are sent to the DTE. The parameter,
if valid, is written to S14 bit 3.

Enables short-form (terse) result codes. Line feed is not issued before a short-
form result code.

Enables long-form (verbose) result codes (default).
