Configuration of Speed Dials

In the default setting, there are six keys configured as Speed Dials (see Figure

Preface-1

,

page 10).
Speed Dials have the same function as abbreviated dialing buttons. You can assign a telephone
number to the button. On a telephone with button displays (SwyxPhone L5xx) the name is
directly transferred. For a telephone with an insertion card you can enter the associated name.
The SwyxWare CD includes label templates for the SwyxPhone L4xx models: you can adapt
these templates to your key configuration and print them.

• When you press a Speed Dial, the corresponding subscriber will immediately be called. 
• If you press and hold a Speed Dial, you can switch directly into the Speed Dial

configuration and assign a new number. 

This is how you configure a Speed Dial

Go in the main menu to the menu item “8 > Configuration” and confirm your selection with

The Settings menu will appear.

Next, in the Configuration menu, move with the arrow button to the menu item “5 > Speed 
dial” and confirm your selection with

“Speed dial” and “Press speed dial!” will appear in the display. To simplify the selection of a 
Speed Dial, the LEDs of all Speed Dials will glow:
