Play back the menu announcement to the end and access to the submenu by pressing
the corresponding button.
13.8.4 Programming a new outgoing message via remote access
If you have initiated recording a new OGM by pressing button combination

Section 13.8.3), speak your new outgoing message and confirm it by pressing .
13.8.5 Remote activation of the answering machine
The remote access feature enables the answering machine to be switched on via any telephone
which uses tone dialling mode.
Dial your own phone number
While the OGM is playing, press the Star button and enter
the security code
If the security code is entered incorrectly three times, the line is automatically discon-
nected.

Other functions can be executed via the remote access system within the following
10 seconds (refer to Section 13.8.3).
Press the button to end the call
13.8.6 Free of charge pre−remote access
The free of charge pre−remote access function can be used to determine whether messages have
been left on your answering machine without accruing any telephone charges.
Set the number of rings to toll−saver" (refer to Section 13.2).
When you subsequently call the answering machine while underway, the answering machine re-
sponds as follows:

If your call is taken after 2 rings, there are messages on the answering machine.

If no messages have been recorded, the call is not taken after 2 rings. Replace the
receiver immediately because the call will be taken after 5 rings. No telephone charges
are necessary because no connection has been made.
