CAUTION

Never use any abrasive, corrosive or
scouring cleaning agents. This can dam-
age the coated surface of the raclette
pans

NOTE: do not wait too long after cooling
before cleaning, otherwise food residues
will dry hard and become difficult to re-
move.
8.1 Cleaning the base unit
1. Clean the base unit 2 with a damp
cloth and a little detergent.
2. Wipe with clear water.
3. Do not use the device until it is com-
pletely dry again.
8.2 Cleaning the stone plate
and accessories
1. Lift the stone plate 1 off the base unit 2
after it has cooled down.
2. Clean the stone plate 1 , raclette pans 6
and the plastic spatulas 5 by hand in
warm dishwater.
3. In case of stubborn encrusted food,
soak the parts in warm water for about
20 – 30 minutes. You can add a little
mild detergent to the water.
4. If it is not possible to remove all encrus-
tations in this manner, you can remove
the softened encrustations with a plastic
spatula

5. Carefully dry all parts after cleaning.
Pay particular attention to the recesses
in the handles of the raclette pans

Shake out any remaining water.
NOTES:
• The hot stone is a natural product and
can change colour as a result of contact
with the barbecued food. This is nor-
mal, and does not affect its function or
the taste of the barbecued food.
• If necessary, you can remove residual
odours with lemon juice.
8.3 Dishwasher
The plastic spatulas 5 can also be cleaned
in a dishwasher.
9. Disposal
This product is subject to the
provisions of European Direc-
tive 2012/19/EC. The sym-
bol showing a wheelie bin
crossed through indicates
that the product requires sep-
arate refuse collection in the European Un-
ion. This applies to the product and all
accessories marked with this symbol. Prod-
ucts identified with this symbol may not be
discarded with normal household waste, but
must be taken to a collection point for recy-
cling electric and electronic appliances.
This recycling symbol marks
e.g. an object or parts of the
material as valuable for recy-
cling. Recycling helps to re-
duce the consumption of raw
materials and protect the environment.
Packaging
When disposing of the packaging, make
sure you comply with the environmental reg-
ulations applicable in your country.
