in the raclette pan. The plastic spatulas
can also become hot.
~
The device remains very hot after it is
switched off, and must not be touched.
~
Only transport the device when it has
cooled down, and when doing so only
use the handles intended for this pur-
pose.
~
Please note that the stone plate remains
hot for a very long time. Allow it suffi-
cient time to cool down before removing
it from the base unit and cleaning it.
~
Use oven gloves when you are cooking
food at hot temperatures. Spitting fat
could otherwise cause burns.
~
Never use the device without the stone
plate. Otherwise the red-hot heating ele-
ments are exposed, and could cause se-
vere burns if touched.
~
If fat catches fire on the device,
never
try to extinguish it with water!
There is a danger of explosive deflagra-
tion or electric shock. Instead, cover the
device with a fire blanket.
DANGER for birds!
~
Birds breathe faster, distribute the air
differently in their bodies and are signif-
icantly smaller than humans. For this
reason, it may be dangerous for birds to
inhale even the smallest smoke quanti-
ties, which develop while this device is
in operation. When using this device,
birds should be relocated into a differ-
ent room.
WARNING! Risk of material
damage!
~
Make sure that the device is switched
off before you connect it to a wall sock-
et.
~
Only use the original accessories.
~
The stone plate and raclette pans must
never be cleaned in the dishwasher.
~
Do not use any astringent or abrasive
cleaning agents.
~
The device is fitted with non-slip plastic
feet. As furniture is coated with a wide ar-
ray of varnishes and synthetics, and is
also treated with different care products,
it cannot be fully ruled out that some of
these materials contain components that
could attack and soften the non-slip plas-
tic feet. If necessary, place a non-slip mat
under the device.
~
Only use utensils made from wood or
heat-resistant plastic. Metal cutlery can
damage the coated surface of the ra-
clette pans.
~
During heating up and operation, never
leave empty raclette pans in the device.
Overheating may damage the non-stick
coating.
~
Do not place any objects on the device.

5. Tips on the hot stone
The hot stone takes approx. 25 minutes until
it has heated up enough for you to begin
food preparation. Once it has heated up,
the stone holds the heat for a long time, and
transfers it evenly and gently to the barbe-
cued food.
You can prepare meat, fish, vegetables and
fruit on the hot stone. To avoid encrustation
during barbecuing, oil the top of the stone

thoroughly.
One advantage is that you can also cut food
on the stone plate

. You only need to avoid
dropping it. This can cause it to break.
Always allow the stone plate

to cool down
well after barbecuing, before removing it
from the grill and cleaning it. Because of its
