Using several handsets
Registering handsets
You can register up to six handsets to your
base station.
A handset can be registered on up to four
base stations.
Please note:
Following successful registration, all
MSNs are used as receive MSNs and the
first MSN is used as a send MSN for this
handset.
Manual registration to Aton CL401
ISDN
You must activate manual registration of
the handset on both the handset and the
base station.
Once it has been registered, the handset
returns to idle status. The handset's inter-
nal number is shown in the display e.g.

Select base station, e.g. Base 1

Enter the system PIN of the
base station (the default is
0000) and press

On the base station
Within 60 sec. press and hold (approx.
3 sec.) the registration/paging key on the
base station (page 1).
Registering other handsets
You can register other handsets and hand-
sets for other devices with GAP functional-
ity as follows.
On the handset

Start to register the handset as
described in its user guide.
On the base station
Press and hold (approx. 3 sec.) the regis-
tration/paging key on the base station
(page 1).
Deregistering handsets
You can deregister any registered handset
using any other registered handset.

The handset you are currently
using is indicated by < .

Locating a handset ("paging")
You can locate your handset using the
base station.

Briefly press the registration/paging
key on the base station (page 1).

All handsets will ring simultaneously
("paging"), even if the ringer tones are
deactivated.
Ending paging

Briefly press the registration/paging
key on the base station or press the talk
key

on the handset.
