2. Presentation
GENERAL:
UPS2200 is an emergency power unit for the operation of various types of door
controls that must be operated even when the network is lost.
Can handle large inrush current and leaving pure sinus voltage at both mains and battery
operation.
The unit is made of sheet metal housing for wall mounting and is painted in white color, with
IP rating of
44.
Mains failure relay with potential free contacts for control or alarm display.
3. Function description
UPS
:
O
nline technology with double-conversion that ensure stable and interference-free
output even if the input voltage varies and has severe interference and protects sensitive
equipment.
The UPS incoming 230 VAC power supplies the smart battery chargers, which are of three-
stage type, and charges the batteries to 90% in four hours. The batteries then drive the built-
in inverter, which is automatically connected to the output in case of power failure. The static
switch that manages this has a switching time of 0ms and
the more powerful variant has a
switching time of 15ms.
High efficiency 89%, power factor 0.9, load-controlled fans and the fast battery charge,
provide long lifetime for the UPS.
The UPS unit consists of an inverter, built-in batteries and a fuse center with circuit breakers
for input and output voltage. There is also an alarm relay for power failures.
BATTERY:
Valve regulated, maintenance free 10-12 years batteries, designed for UPS
operation with high current load for a short period of time. The intelligent battery charger
guarantees a safe and secure battery charge and will not risk the battery lifespan
.
To prevent
deep discharge, the UPS will shut down before reaching a dangerous battery level (low
voltage) and will restart when the main power returns.
FAULT CONDITIONS:
All units are equipped with a mains fault alarm relay, with two-pole
switching contacts.
Intelligent LCD display with complete operating information, for example
input voltage and output voltage, load, UPS and battery status.
