VCR Gland

Split Half

Hex Collar

Female VCR Split-Nut
1.

Place two female split nut halves

around the VCR

gland shaft so their ends are flush. Slide the split
halves against the back of the gland flange.

Thread the larger opening of the hex collar over the
split halves by turning it

counterclockwise.

Tighten

hex collar slightly using an 11/16 in. wrench on the
split nut halves and a 3/4 in. wrench on the hex col-
lar.

To remove, turn the hex collar

clockwise

You must use a set with one split nut half marked
with the Swagelok logo and one split nut half
marked with the words “VCR PAT’D.”
