Camera Features
7.2.1
Standard Tap Geometries
Similar to other sensor readout technologies Camera Link is sending
many pixel values in parallel at the same time. The image can be split in
“taps” or “channels” which can be sent in parallel. The tap geometry is
describing how many taps are read and how they are transmitted through
the Camera Link interface.
7.2.2
Tap Structure
Your camera may be equipped with a two, four or even higher taped
sensor.
