“12” (P0335) CKP SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

INSPECTION

NOTE:
After repairing the trouble, clear the DTC using SDS tool.

Step 1

1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Remove the front seat. (

3) Check the CKP sensor coupler for loose or poor contacts.

If OK, then measure the CKP sensor resistance.

4) Disconnect the CKP sensor coupler and measure the resis-

tance.

CKP sensor resistance: 420 – 620 

Ω

DETECTED CONDITION

POSSIBLE CAUSE

The signal does not reach ECM for 3 seconds or
more, after receiving the starter signal.

• Metal particles or foreign material being stuck on 

the CKP sensor and rotor tip

• CKP sensor circuit open or short
• CKP sensor malfunction
• ECM malfunction
