Engine General Information and Diagnosis: 1A-56

5) Check the continuity between Br/W wire and ground.

Also, check the continuity between Br/W wire and B/Br
wire. If sound is not heard from the tester, the circuit
condition is OK.

Special tool

(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)

6) Disconnect the ECM coupler. Refer to “ECM Removal

and Installation in Section 1C (Page 1C-2)”.

7) Check the continuity between R wire and terminal “13”.

Also, then check the continuity between Br/W wire and
terminal “2”.
