Use a tape measure and a pencil to mark

Reinsert the previously-removed end cap (step 1).

Proceed with normal installation.
Installation
Front Sport Arms
When installing the front sport arms, the ideal placement
of the H-bracket, that attaches to the front frame, would
be as high up the front frame—towards top of bow—as
is possible so that the front sport arms are as close to
straight up and down (vertical) and perpendicular to the top
rail of the boat.
Such ideal positioning of the front sport arms is not always
possible due to doors or furniture installed on the boat. If
that is the case, start the installation on the side with the
obstruction, which is commonly a gate on the port side or
furniture on the starboard side, and finish on the opposite
side to match it.
NOTE:
Mounting the H-brackets for the front sport arms as
far up the front frame as possible will add more strength to
the top when the front sport arms are used.

Fully open the Power Bimini top
(Fig.6)
until the auto-
reset breaker trips.
NOTE:
The tripped breaker ensures that the Bimini top is
fully deployed.
