LED Indicators
LED INDICATORS
The gain dials on the booster should always be at maximum level unless a control light is flashing red-yellow.
Additionally, they should only be reduced if other recommended actions do not resolve the issue.
Condition
Indication
GREEN SOLID
The booster is operating normally
YELLOW SOLID
followed by GREEN SOLID
This is part of normal operation.
Indicates that uplink frequency is Inactive.
After a period of time, if there’s no activity the band will go into sleep mode.
GREEN FLASHING
SLOWLY
followed by GREEN SOLID
This is part of normal operation.
Indicates that the Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is self-
adjusting.
YELLOW FLASHING
QUICKLY
followed by GREEN SOLID
Automatic Gain Control (AGC) is active and self-adjusting.
This is part of normal operation.
This status appears on the booster to indicate AGC due to inadequate isolation between the
outside and inside antennas.
Additional separation is recommended between the antennas to optimize performance
(vertical separation works best).
Ensure that the antennas are aimed away from one another.
YELLOW / RED Alternately
FLASHING
Indicates that the booster has detected oscillation caused by over-signal or interference. If
this happens, try to further isolate the antennas. Consider the following options to resolve the
condition:
1. Try increasing vertical distance between the outside and inside antennas.
2. Check for sources of interference such as, cellular modems or hotspots.
3. Avoid placing either antenna near windows.
If condition continues, lower the dB gain setting in small increments until the LED status
resolves.
Keep in mind, identifying the setup that yields the best possible results for your environment will come from
testing -- balancing the elimination of interference and while also receiving the best possible signal.
