4.2 Headers and Connectors
Fan Headers
There is one fan header with 4-pins on the motherboard. Pins 1-3 are backward compatible
with traditional 3-pin fans. The onboard fan speeds are controlled by Thermal Management
(via Hardware Monitoring) in the BIOS.

General Purpose I/O Header
The JGP1 (General Purpose Input/Output) header is a general purpose I/O expander on a
pin header via the SMBus. Each pin can be configured to be an input pin or output pin. The
GPIO is controlled by the SIO NCT5523D (pins GP20 - GP27). Refer to the table below for
pin definitions.
