Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation

Installing a PCI Expansion Card

The system includes slots for PCI expansion cards. Riser cards position the expansion cards 

at a 90 degree angle, allowing them to fit inside the 1U chassis. Slot 7 accommodates one 

x8 and one x16 FHHL card.

Note:

 Slot 7 is only supported if Slot 1 and Slot 2 are not used.

Installing a PCI Expansion Card

The riser cards have already been pre-installed into the motherboard. Perform the following 
steps to install an add-on card:

1. Remove the top cover, if necessary.

2. Remove the screw as shown below.
