4.5 LED Indicators
BMC Heartbeat LED
LEDM1 is the BMC heartbeat LED. When the LED is blinking green, BMC is functioning
normally.

Onboard Power LED
The Onboard Power LED is located at LE2 on the motherboard. When this LED is on, the
system is on. Be sure to turn off the system and unplug the power cord before removing or
installing components.

Unit ID LED
A rear UID LED indicator at LE1 is located near the UID switch on the back panel. This UID
indicator provides easy identification of a system in a rack.
Dedicated IPMI LAN Port LEDs
A dedicated IPMI LAN port is located on the I/O backplane. The amber LED on the right
indicates activity, while the green LED on the left indicates the speed of the connection.
