USB Configuration Sub-menu
Legacy USB Support
This setting enables Legacy USB support. Options include
Enabled
, Disabled and Auto. The
Auto option disables legacy support if no USB devices are connected. The disable option will
keep USB devices available only for EFI applications.
XHCI Hand-off
This setting is a workaround for OSes without XHCI hand-off support. The XHCI ownership
change should be claimed by XHCI driver. Options include
Enabled
or Disabled.
USB Mass Storage Driver Support
Use this setting to
Enable
/Disable USB Mass Storage Driver support.
Port 60/64 Emulation
This setting
Enables
/Disables the I/O port 60h/64h emulation support. This should be enabled
for the complete USB keyboard legacy support for non-USB aware OSes.
USB transfer time-out
Use this setting to configure the time-out value for Control, Bulk and Interrupt transfers.
Options include 1 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec and
20 sec
.
Device reset time-out
Use this setting to configure the USB mass storage device Start Unit command time-out.
Options include 10 sec,
20 sec
, 30 sec and 40 sec.
Device power-up delay
This setting allows you to configure the maximum time the device will take before it properly
reports itself to the host controller. Options include
Auto
and Manual. Auto uses the default
value: for a Root port it is 100 ms, for a Hub port the delay is taken from the Hub descriptor.
