Chapter 3: Maintenance and Component Installation

SAS Backplane Information

The ASG -1014S-ACR12N4H comes with three backplanes for four 3.5" SATA3 or SAS3
HDD drives (BPN-SAS3-802A-3). These backplanes have their own two LED indicators for

activity and status as shown in the figure and table below.

Note:

Two of the four LEDs on the backplanes are currently not used for this server and are

not active.
