Retrofit Installation Instructions
•
Product should be installed by certified electrician in accordance with
applicable
national, state, and local building and electrical codes.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure that the main power source
and circuit
breakers are switched off before performing any installation or wiring procedures.
•
Avoid looking directly into the lamp when illuminated.
•
Designed for direct wire installation only, bypassing existing ballasts
where applicable.
•
When removing existing ballast reference provided wiring diagram.
Apply the
provided label, after installation, in any visible location on the fixture.
• Make sure to attach safety cable to secure location during installation.
Caution:
When removing ballast, this product must be
installed in accordance with the applicable installation
code by a qualified electrician familiar with the construction
and operation of the product and the hazards involved.
This lamp should be used to replace existing incandescent,
HPS/HID, and CFL lamps with an EX39 or E39 base only.
If used in accordance with these instructions on a UL or ETL
Listed light, the luminaire will retain its original certification.

The optional microwave motion sensor (HRB3-MS) can be installed
in the lower center area of the bulb by removing the existing threaded
cap, then replacing it with the sensor. The settings on the sensor can
be changed using optional remote (HBR3-RM). Otherwise, the sensor
will operate using default settings.
