SSxDSL-5 IDSL Module

PAD
Options: ON (F1), OFF (F2)
When set for ON, the test set adds 4 predefined characters into 
the user data field (01 00 00 00 h) and only 12 digits of user data 
can be entered. When OFF, all 16 digits of the user data field may 
be user-defined.

S/T TERMINATION
Options: ON (F1), OFF (F2)
Determine if the S/T port is terminated. S/T termination applies 
to TE-S/T mode. When ON (F1), it terminates the line with 100

W

. 

If off, it puts a high impedance on the line.
