Our Warranty necessitates that you unpack and erect this product prior to your first use to ensure that all components are enclosed and in good condition. Please
see our Warranty section for full details of our Warranty conditions. If you find a component missing or a fault, please contact your SunnCamp stockist for advice.
SITE SELECTION
Select ground that is flat, smooth and dry.
Endeavour to locate the tent entrance away
from direct wind. DO NOT erect on rough
ground where sharp rocks etc may cause
damage to your product.
INFLATABLE TUBES
Your tent comprises of inflatable bladders
retained within a reinforced zipped oxford
polyester retaining sleeve to support the tent’s
flysheet. The inflatable tubes require a
maximum of 5psi pressure to provide rigid
support.
DO NOT OVER INFLATE AS THIS WILL
CAUSE THE INFLATABLE BLADDER TO
RUPTURE.
The air valves on the tubes are attached with
retaining straps but are not pre-fitted and will
need to be screwed into place before inflation.
Carefully screw the valve’s body on ensuring
that you do not cross the valve’s thread. Do not
over tighten but ensure sufficiently tight to
produce a good seal. Should you require spare
valves, these are available to purchase from
your SunnCamp stockist.
AIR INFLATOR PUMP
The tent is supplied with a manual air pump
specifically designed for use with the tent’s air
valves. You must not use any other type of
pump (including 12v tyre inflators or air
compressors). Before using the pump it will
require assembling. Follow the instructions on
the front of the pump. Please note that your
pump is fitted with a dump valve and it is
essential you use this to avoid over inflation.
TENT
Lay the tent flysheet out on the selected ground
area with the entrance correctly positioned.
Secure the tent to the ground by the corner tags
using the tent pegs. The inflatable tube(s) is
fitted with a single inflation valve which is at
ground level. Remove the cap (turn anti-
clockwise), The valve cap should be attached to
the valve body by a plastic tab, if not, make
sure you keep the cap safe ready to replace
once inflation is complete. Insert the nozzle of
the hose into the valve using firm pressure.
Operate the pump, making necessary
adjustments to the flysheet as the tube inflates.
It may be necessary to lift the tube(s) to help
position the tube(s) during the last stages of
inflation. Once you reach a pressure of 5psi,
stop pumping. Carefully disconnect the pump
nozzle and replace the valve cap. Repeat this
process for all the inflatable tubes.
DO NOT OVER INFLATE AS THIS MAY
CAUSE THE TUBE TO EXPLODE. PLEASE
READ THE SECTION ON AIR PRESSURE
MAINTENANCE.
Bring the tent to an upright position before
pegging out the storm mate straps. These may
need to be re-pegged later.
STORM MATE STRAPS
Attach the storm mate straps supplied to the
storm mate clips. The storm mate straps are
designed and supplied to help secure the tent in
windy conditions but are not to be relied upon
as an anchor in severe adverse weather
conditions.
ENTRANCE
Ensure that all entrances to the tent are closed
with zips fully secured. Failure to do this will
result in your tent being out of alignment when
fitting the tent pegs.
PEGS
Peg the tent’s remaining pegging points to the
ground. Pegs should be inserted into the
ground at a 45 degree angle away from the
tent. Hammer the pegs into the ground with a
suitable mallet.
DO NOT PRESS PEGS INTO THE GROUND
WITH YOUR FOOT AS THIS MAY BEND THE
PEGS.
For extraction of pegs use a tent peg extractor.
To allow easy hooking and unhooking of
pegging points at entrances to your tent (for
opening and closing doors)
leave the pegs used at the entrances slightly
raised.
GUY ROPES
Secure each guy rope by positioning with a peg
at a suitable distance from the tent. When
pegged, tighten each guy rope using the guy
rope’s slider equally to bring the tent to its
natural shape.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE GUY ROPES.
GUY ROPES ARE A TRIP HAZARD,
ESPECIALLY IN THE DARK.
FRONT CANOPY
Insert the front canopy pole into the pole sleeve.
Both ends of the pole are fitted with a spike
which is designed to fit into the metal eyelet.
Put the spike in at one side and then repeat on
the other side.
INTEGRAL CANOPY
Your tent has an integral canopy which rolls into
the zipped compartment on the front porch.
The canopy should be used with the canopy
poles provided.
Please ensure the integral canopy is dry when
packing the tent away for storage.
INNER TENT
Open the front door fully; roll back and secure
with the toggle and loop provided. Fit the inner
tent starting at the bottom by connecting to the
captive receiver on the groundsheet. Repeat
this process for the top of the inner tent.
WEATHER SKIRT
Check the weather skirt is correctly positioned
and pegged to help prevent water ingress.
SAFETY
The tent fabric used by SunnCamp is fire
retardant to British Standard and whilst fire
retardant it is not fire proof and therefore you
must not smoke or use a naked flame in or near
the tent. This includes traditional ‘camp fires’.
Guy ropes/tent pegs should be marked so they
are not a trip hazard.
