5.7.3 Connection Procedure

SUNGROW provides corresponding plug connectors in the scope of delivery for quick

connection of PV inputs.

DC cables should be connected to the inverter via PV connectors which are included in

the scope of delivery.

To ensure IP66 protection, use only the supplied connector or the connector

with the same ingress of protection.

High voltage may be present in the inverter!

•

Ensure all cables are voltage-free before performing electrical operations.

•

Do not connect the AC circuit breaker before finishing electrical connection.

Use the MC4 EVO2 PV connecters within the scope of delivery. Damage to the

device due to the use of incompatible terminal shall not be covered by the

warranty.

PV connector can be purchased according to the following recommended

models:

•

When the DC Cable cross-sectional area is 6mm

, the recommended model

of the female cable connector is PV-KST4-EVO 2/6II-UR (St

ubli), and the

male cable connector is recommended The model is PV-KBT4-EVO 2/6II-UR
(St

ubli).

•

When the DC Cable cross-sectional area is 10mm

, the recommended

model of the female cable connector is PV-KBT4-EVO 2/10II-UR (St

ubli),

and the recommended model of the male cable connector is PV-KST4-EVO
2/10II-UR (St

ubli).

Step 1

Strip the insulation from each DC cable.

Step 2

Assemble the cable ends with the crimping pliers.
