• Use Iron only on a stable surface and for its intended use.
• To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse the iron in water
or other liquids.
• The Fabric Select Dial and Steam Lever should always be turned to off “

before plugging or unplugging from outlet. Never yank cord to disconnect
from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
• Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces. Let iron cool completely before
cleaning or putting away. When cool, clean only with damp cloth.
• Always turn off and disconnect iron from electrical outlet when filling with
water or emptying, cleaning and when not in use or left unattended.
• Do not operate iron with a damaged cord or if the iron has been dropped,
damaged, or leaking. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble
the iron. Contact your nearest SUNBEAM

authorized distributor. Incorrect
reassembly can cause risk of electric shock when the iron is used.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• The appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer
or separate remote-control system.
• Iron is hot. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water or steam. Use
caution when you turn a steam iron upside down – there may be hot water in the
reservoir.
• If the iron is not operating normally, turn off and disconnect from the power
supply and call Customer Service. Contact your nearest SUNBEAM
™

distributor.

iron is designed to rest on the heel rest. Do not leave the
iron unattended while it is plugged in. Do not set the iron on an unprotected
or unstable surface, even if it is on its heel rest.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid hazard.
• BEFORE USING IRON, remove any labels from soleplate and wipe any
manufacturing residue from soleplate using a soft cloth.

same circuit.
• Do not use an extension cord.
