Setting the Default Console Display
These instructions describe how to set the Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator as the
default monitor console display.
Note –
Only the DVI-1 connector labeled “1” can be used as the console output.
1. At the

prompt, type:

2. Select the graphics board you want to be the default console display.
In the above example, we typed

for the Sun XVR-1200 graphics accelerator. Your
selection is confirmed by the following output:

q) NO SELECTION
Enter Selection, q to quit: b
/pci@8,700000/SUNW,XVR-1200@1 has been selected.
Type ^Y ( Control-Y ) to insert it in the command line.
e.g. ok nvalias mydev ^Y
for creating devalias mydev for /pci@8,700000/SUNW,XVR-1200@1
