Troubleshooting Case Study

The following case study illustrates a practical application of the steps outlined
above. This is only one way to approach the problem; there may be others.

Note –

Knowledge and training on all components in a SAN are prerequisites

before you attempt the procedures below.

In this test case, the I/O load was generated using the

dex

disk exerciser to simulate

customer load, and the steps below allowed the I/O to continue uninterrupted
throughout the procedure.
