Location and Default Settings of the SW503 DIP Switch
1. Verify that you have already installed the rear transition card for the node board.
Refer to Section 5.3.2.1, “Installing the Rear Transition Card for a Node Board” on
page 5-15 .
2. Locate the node board slots.
The node boards can only be inserted in slots 3-20 in the Netra CT 820 server.
3. Remove the filler panel, if necessary.
4. Prepare the node board by opening its injector/ejector handles (

).
5. Carefully align the edges of the board with the card guides in the slot.
Look into the enclosure to verify correct alignment of the rails in the guides.
6. Keeping the board aligned in the guides, slide the board in until the
injector/ejector mechanisms engage the retention bar.
