DVD-ROM Drive
Caution –
Use proper ESD grounding techniques when handling components. Wear
an antistatic wrist strap and use an ESD-protected mat. Store ESD-sensitive
components in its ESD-safe packaging box before placing them on any surface.
The DVD-ROM drive is located at the right front of the system (

Replacing the DVD-ROM Drive
1. Take the system to Standby mode.

2. Open the right front door of the system.
3. Attach a wrist strap. Place a grounded ESD mat close to the system.

4. Open the media bay access door at the top of the system. Loosen the latch
securing screw. Lift the latch and raise the cover (
