POWER BACK DOOR (if equipped)
The Power Back Door allows automatic opening, and a single touch of a switch can close
the back door and lock the entire vehicle. The opening height can also be set for spaces
where clearance is limited.
Power Back Door Switch
Opening the Power Back Door
Press and briefly hold the Power
Back Door Switch on the
instrument panel to automatically
open the back door. Unlock the
doors before opening.
Closing the Power Back Door
Press and briefly hold the Power
Back Door Switch on the
instrument panel to automatically
close the back door.
Stopping the Power Back Door
If you briefly press the Power Back
Door Switch while the back door is
opening/closing, it will stop. Press and hold the button again to reverse the operation.
The operation of the Power Back Door is the same using the Power Back Door Switch on
the access key fob.
From the Rear of the Vehicle
Opening the Power Back Door
To open the back door, briefly
press the Back Door Opener
Switch on the underside trim near
the license plate, and the back
door automatically opens.
