7. Bestimmung der Befeuchterstrecke

Die Länge der Befeuchterstrecke ist von verschiedenen Faktoren abhän-

gig.

>gleichmäßige Verteilung des Nebels im Luftstrom

>Temperatur der Luft

>rel. Feuchte der Luft

>Luftgeschwindigkeit

Das nachstehende Diagramm zur Bestimmung der Befeuchterstrecke

beinhaltet Erfahrungswerte in Abhängigkeit von den wichtigsten Parame-

tern. Das Diagramm gilt für einen Temp. Bereich von 18 °C bis 24 °C.

Falls kein Platz für die Befeuchtungsstrecke zur Verfügung steht, so ist

die Verwendung eines Tropfenabscheiders möglich. Je kleiner der Abstand

zum Tropfenabscheider gewählt wird, umso größer ist der Leistungsverlust

des Befeuchters und umso mehr abgeschiedenes Wasser läuft in die

Wanne, das aus hygienischen Gründen abgelassen werden muß.

Proportional control offers another means of reducing the humidifier distance. This reduces the humid

ifier capacity according to demand for more than 90 % of the operating time, thereby shortening the

humidifier distance, protecting the transducers and maintaining uniform mist distribution even in partial

load mode.

The length of the humidifier distance depends on various factors.

Uniform distribution of the mist in the airflow

•

Temperature of the air

•

Relative humidity of the air

•

Air speed

The diagram below for calculating the humidifier distance contains recommendations

based on the most important parameters. The diagram displays the range of temperature

from

18°C to 24°C.

CAUTION

Adiabatic behavior.

STULZ UltraSonic humidifiers atomize the water in minuscule droplets (< 0.001 mm). The mist (

aero-

sols) produced in this way draws heat from the surrounding air (enthalpy) and changes its state from flu

id to aqueous. This "adiabatic" behavior (removal of heat from surrounding air) cools the air in the room.
