The S SM MR RT T Pak is intended for use with the S SM MR RT T charger only.
W WA AR RN NIIN NG G -- Do not insert a cracked or damaged S SM MR RT T Pak into the S SM MR RT T charger. Return damaged S SM MR RT T Paks to a
service center for recycling.

• For extended storage, store the S SM MR RT T Pak on the S SM MR RT T charger to trickle charge. The S SM MR RT T charger keeps the
S SM MR RT T Pak charged and ready for use.
• Store the S SM MR RT T Pak at room temperature within the allowable temperature charge range of 43 °F to 88 °F (6 °C to 31 °
C). Charging the S SM MR RT T Pak outside of this recommended temperature range reduces S SM MR RT T Pak life and extends
charge time.
To charge the S SM MR RT T Pak (Figure 26):
1. Insert a clean, dry S SM MR RT T Pak into the S SM MR RT T charger. Make sure that the S SM MR RT T Pak is locked into the S SM MR RT T charger.

• The S SM MR RT T charger LED indicator (B) will flash green while charging (Figure 26). The optimum charge time is two
hours.
• When the S SM MR RT T Pak is charged and ready for use, the S SM MR RT T charger LED indicator (B) turns to solid green.
2. Press the red release button (A) (Figure 26) and slide the S SM MR RT T Pak to release the charged and ready S SM MR RT T Pak from
the S SM MR RT T charger.
The S SM MR RT T charger manages charging regardless of the S SM MR RT T Pak charge state.
