Testing Your Backhoe

Before testing your backhoe, make

sure you understand your backhoe

control decal and make sure all hose

connections are tight. Also, make sure that all

1/2” bolts & 1/2” nuts have been tightend on the

backhoe. Make sure no people, pets or other at-

tachments are in your operating area.

STEP 1.

Start your MAGNATRAC, by following

your starting instructions from Section 4 in your

MAGNATRAC manual. Adjust seat to look like

Photo 4 at the bottom of page BM72. Adjust

thottle of tractor to approx. 1/4” way upward.

STEP 2.

From the operator’s seat of your

RS1000, operate 1 lever at a time. Move the

handle in one direction and hold it in that direc-

tion for approx. 3 seconds. Then move the han-

dle in the opposite direction, repeating the same

3 second process. This is forcing any air in the

backhoe lines, back to the tank and out of your

breather.

STEP 3.

Repeat this same

process in every handle, until

you have moved all air back

into the tank and out of the

breather.

STEP 4.

Check level of hy-

draulic tank by turning the black

pastic nut on the breather

counter-clockwise. Remove

breather fully. The level should

be approx 5” from the top of the

tank. Add additonal AW32 hy-

draulic oil to the tank.
