- The light has a non-replaceable light source that has a very long lifetime without mechanical damage and
therefore does not normally have to be removed.
- Charge the light only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that may be appropriate
for one battery type may cause a fire when it is used with another type battery.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CHARGER
- Protect the charger from rain and moisture. The charger can only be used in an enclosed area.
- The charger included in the package is intended only to charge the light battery and not for any other
batteries. Charging batteries other than those for which the charger is intended may cause a fire or
explosion.
- Keep the charger clean. Check that the charger plug works.
- Before using the charger, check whether it and the output cable are okay. If a fault is found, have an
authorized service center repair the device.
- Do not use the light on objects or substrates that may easily catch fire (e.g. on paper), in potentially
explosive environments or close to a flame.
- Always make sure there is adequate ventilation when charging as it may cause vapor or electrolyte to leak
from the battery, if there has been damage caused by improper handling.
- Unplug the charger when the battery is fully charged. Do not leave it connected to a voltage source for
longer than necessary.
- Do not let anyone (including children) use the device if their physical, sensory or mental disability or lack of
experience and knowledge prevents them from using the device safely without supervision or instruction.
Children should not play with it.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE BATTERY
- Keep the battery in a dry environment and take care to avoid water entering it.
-
Never expose the battery to direct sunlight or temperatures above 50 ° C.
- Recharge the battery only for the time required for charging.
- Keep the battery connector away from metal objects that could short-circuit the built-in battery (e.g. metal
dust, metal clips) and cause a fire or explosion. To do so, attach the rubber guard included with the battery.
Also protect the connector against water ingress.
-
Protect the battery from shock, temperatures above 50 °C, direct sunlight, radiant heat sources and water.
Never open the battery!
- Never incinerate the battery, put it in water or dump it outside, but dispose of it in an environmentally
sound matter.
- Avoid contact with the skin if the battery is damaged or electrolyte leaks due to improper handling. If there
is contact with the skin, thoroughly wash it with water. Fluids leaking from the battery can cause burns or
inflammation. If there is contact with the eyes, rinse them with clean water and consult a physician.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- If you need to clean the light, first unplug it from the power source and let it cool down.
- Do not use abrasive agents and organic solvents to clean the surface of the light as this will damage its
surface.
- Replace the cover with a new one if the front lamp cover is damaged. For safety reasons, you cannot use
the lamp with a damaged front cover. If the user replaces the front glass, the manufacturer can no longer
guarantee IP65 protection with protection against harmful ingress of water and dust, as the manufacturer
cannot guarantee for the user's possible incorrect installation of the front cover. When replacing the cover,
the same level of protection as the original must be provided. The manufacturer's original seal must be used.
When replacing glass, the seal must be completely undamaged and must not be twisted. The glass must have
the same thickness as the original glass. Failure to comply with these requirements will not provide sufficient
protection against harmful water ingress and dust tightness and the light shall not be exposed to rain,
moisture or other intrusion.
