3. To power on the 

ftScalable Storage G3 system

, perform steps

each power supply unit (PSU) in the system.

N O T E S

1.

Power on all expansion enclosures first

. This 

ensures that the disks in the expansion enclosure 
have enough time to completely spin up before being 
scanned by the controller modules in the controller 
enclosure. 

2. The PSUs in the ftScalable Storage G3 system do not 

have power switches. Switchless PSUs power on 
when connected to a power source, and they power 
off when disconnected.
