3. Attach the screws, washers, and spacers (number 1 in Figure 2-11 ) to the
enclosure faceplate as follows:
a. Slide a washer over each screw, then push the screws through the enclosure
faceplate.
b. Slide a spacer over each screw on the rear of the enclosure faceplate.
c. Guide the screws and enclosure into the cabinet so that the screws align with
the cagenut in the center of the U position, then tighten the screws.

4. From the rear of the system, connect one end of the FC cable (number 4 in
Figure 2-11 ) to the drive’s FC port and the other end to the system’s FC port. (Do
the same with the second FC cable, if it is present.)
5. Connect the drive’s power cord (number 3 in Figure 2-11 ).
6. Move the power switch to the 1 (on) position to power on the drive.
