When the connection is established, Objet Studio is configured to prepare 
print jobs for that printer.

If you can see the material levels in the "Job Manager Screen" (see Figure 
5-104 on page 5-83), Objet Studio is connected to the printer.

Normally, there should be no reason to change the printer connection. 
Occasionally, however, you may need to reset the connection, to connect the 
server to another printer, or to use Objet Studio in off-line mode (without a 
printer connection).

Note: A printer can be listed by its name or by its computer's  IP address. 

Off-line Mode

You can use Objet Studio to prepare trays for printing in off-line mode, on a 
remote computer or when the printer connection is not available. You also 
use off-line mode to prepare trays for printing with other printers. In this 
case, if Objet Studio is currently connected to a printer, you must change to 
off-line mode by removing this connection.
